Purpose
The Adolescent Health Clinic provides health care services for adolescents, ages 11 through 17. Services include complete physicals, sick visits, preventive care, immunizations and wellness education. A Family Nurse Practitioner and Public Health Nurses staff this clinic.
Availability
These services are provided by appointment Monday- Friday from 8:00am-11:30pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm.
Eligibility
Any adolescent, ages 11 through 17, who is a resident of Stanly County is eligible for the Adolescent Health Clinic. Charges for these services is dependent upon services received and the family’s income. Medicaid accepted. The health department is a Carolina Access provider.
