Purpose
General Health Clinic services include pregnancy testing, lice checks, TB skin testing, sickle cell testing and immunizations. Public Health Nurses staff this clinic.
Adult – Vaccines available for adults include tetanus/diphtheria, pneumonia, shingles, MMR (measles, mumps and rubella)), HPV, flu, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B. Go to Adult Immunization Schedule for more information.
Children – Vaccines available for children include diphtheria, pertussis, polio, pneumonia, shingles, MMR (measles, mumps and rubella)), HPV, flu, Hepatitis B and haemophilus. Go to Children’s Immunization Schedule for more information.
Adolescent College Bound Youth – Meningococcal vaccine available for adolescent college-bound students.
Availability
These services are provided by appointment Monday-Friday from 8:00am-11:30am and 1:00pm-4:00pm.
Eligibility
Anyone is eligible to receive these services. Charges for these services are dependent upon services received and the family’s income. Medicaid accepted. The health department is a Carolina Access provider.
